In 2023, I wrote a blog post I called, "Started Hiking". (So original, right?)
What followed was a dedication to the endeavour. You would think that it's for the love of the craft, but I choose to believe it's a matter dedication to the principle thereof.
"I said I would do this, I do it thus."

On labour day, at work they gave us a voucher from Charisma Book Store. I was actually planning on just getting cards or some other game, but that felt wrong.
I managed to convince myself that I am owed an expression of a childhood dream that died in the night.

See, of the dreams I had in my flamboyant youth, I had this silly one of becoming a writer. It never worked out. But it got me to research some of the classics.
And none captivated me as Fyodor Dostoevsky did. Presently, I don't know how to describe this man nor his literature. Hopefully this video essay helps.

Anyhow, I brought with me arguably his greatest piece of literature - Crime and Punishment.
