What is IBIMANUKA
I have no idea. This is why I'm writing this. There's a lot of chatter in the skull about what it is, what it should/could be. I'm just using one of the oldest tricks in the book to figure it out - writing.
Clear writing leads to clear thinking. You don’t know what you know until you try to express it.

Presently
I'm describing IBIMANUKA as a Rwandan Archive. In a nutshell, a mini Wikipedia, only about Rwanda. (History, culture, geography, games...)
However, I feel like it could be more.
The Original Goal & What It Could Be
Back in 2019, when I had the inception of the idea, IBIMANUKA was supposed to be a comic book publishing company. Or rather, a universe in which all the stories would take place. But the idea kept morphing overtime.
Through it all, I've come to realize that the premise of it was always a community. And as a result, I'm starting to consider defining IBIMANUKA as a community before anything else.
Of what, I have no clue, yet.
The Plan
I'll be staring an experiment to see how best to understand what IBIMANUKA should be.
A few friends have reached out asking if I could invite them, if not, organize an adventure. I've hiked for a little over a year now, but I've always wanted to explore a forest. So, either this month or the next, I'll prepare a trip to a major forest in my country, and see what I could gain from the experience.
For Now
As I contemplate on the best way to settle on a shape of the idea, I'm going to change the description. For now, it'll be an online directory for the community. A place to find the topics that interest us, the games we play, the mountains we hike, the forests we explore...
Nothing is set it stone, but rather it's a flowing river, in search of new horizons.
P.S.
If you know of any communities that have found a niche and executed well on it, please let me know. I'd like to understand how these things are done.
My socials are on the footer of the page.
Thank you.
